The experience requirement is designed to equip candidates with the necessary skills and abilities to deliver exceptional financial planning or advice services to the public.

During the application stage, FPI takes into consideration the experience gained in the preceding five years, ensuring that all relevant experience is duly recognised and accounted for.

CFP
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®)

Standard Pathway

A minimum of three years of unsupervised relevant financial planning experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.

Mentorship Pathway

One year of supervised experience through our esteemed Mentorship Programme.

FSA
FINANCIAL SERVICES ADVISOR (FSA)

A minimum of two years of unsupervised relevant financial advisory experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.

RFP
REGISTERED FINANCIAL PRACTITIONER (RFP)

A minimum of two years of unsupervised relevant financial advisory experience. FPI will verify this experience during the application process.
